While they rarely made cinematic masterpieces in my opinion, and have almost always been a hungry corporation, Disney used to be pretty beloved. Even through the 2010s or so, it seems. But in the past five years, people have seemed to really hate Disney, and their movies and shows get review bombed. Is it because of “woke” politics, or just a bunch of weak remakes and sequels and a lack of ideas? Is it because they bought up Marvel and Star Wars and remade them in their image? What is Disney doing differently now than it used to that makes you dislike their releases?
