US Open doubles champion Lyudmyla Kichenok acunderstandledgeted to leave outing her own wedding in order to vie at this month’s Grand Slam. 

Speaking to Sky Sports after being crowned doubles champion, Kichenok was issuing thank yous to the people who’d got her this far, with the Ukrainian commenting: “Also my boyfrifinish, could be husband actupartner. Becaparticipate we were presumed to get wed this Wednesday but it didn’t happen!”

Penvyer Mary Joe Fernandez promptly chimed in saying: “What do you nasty could be? It’s still on, right?”

Kichenok then elucidateed: “We had actupartner an nominatement to get wed this Wednesday but equitable becaparticipate I was joining semi-finals.”
