Bologna director Giovanni Sartori has confirmed that Joshua Zirkzee is all but certain to leave the club this summer.
The 23-year-old striker is reportedly among Manchester United‘s top targets as Erik ten Hag eyes competition for Rasmus Hojlund.
And United look set to trigger Zirkzee’s £34m release clause – which became active on July 1 – once his involvement at Euro 2024 with the Netherlands is complete.
“Joshua Zirkzee has release clause into his contract and I believe he’s 99 per cent gonna leave the club,” Sartori said.
