A new mobile beach badge app is available in several Jersey Shore towns after the unexpected shuttering of Viply last fall.
My Beach Mobile has partnered with seven towns to sell beach badges through their app, partner Carolina Bevad said.
Long Beach Township, Margate, Harvey Cedars, Ventnor, Sea Isle City and Ship Bottom all sell badges on the app. You can also buy LBI shuttle passes, and boat ramp passes and other paid recreation services are in the works, Bevad said.
