Robyn Brown Didn’t Really Want Monogamy

Did Robyn Plan To Be Kody’s Only Wife?

Even though Robyn’s Mormon faith embraces plural marriage, she seemingly wanted Kody all to herself. Instead of splitting time between Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, Kody chose to prioritize his marriage with the latter. She claimed she wanted him to have other wives, but didn’t intervene when he spent all his time with her. Christine called out Kody’s favoritism, claiming that Robyn was his “favorite wife.” If she wanted to live in polygamy, Robyn could have encouraged her husband to divide his time between all four of the wives.

Robyn Brown Didn’t Really Love Her Fellow Sister Wives

Was Robyn Ever Close With Meri, Janelle, Or Christine?

Robyn was all talk and no action when it came to her relationships with her fellow sister wives. She persistently brought up her dream of growing old with her sister wives and sitting on the porch watching their grandchildren play together. However, Robyn mostly only had a strong connection with Meri. She clashed with Janelle and Christine on multiple occasions. Robyn admitted she noticed Kody’s other wives had “stretch marks” and “weight gain” when she joined the family. She seemingly blamed these factors on their “stagnant” marriages with Kody.

“I wanted to sit on a porch with my sister wives, with our kids and our grandkids.”

Though she was close to Meri, she didn’t always have her best interests at heart. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kody enforced strict rules for the Brown family to adhere to for them to see each other. They held an outside BBQ as a family, and Kody and Robyn humiliated Meri with a s’more. The Brown family patriarch offered his first wife a s’more, which made her feel there was hope for their marriage to improve. However, Meri felt embarrassed when she learned that Robyn made Kody give her the s’more. She attempted to manufacture a sweet moment, which backfired horribly.

Janelle was quick to call out Robyn’s odd behavior when Christine announced she was divorcing Kody. In her confessional moments, she admitted she was confused by her reaction to the news. “It just feels like she’s placating him,” said Janelle, adding that she was exhausted by “counselor Robyn.” Kody’s marriage with Robyn undoubtedly strained his relationship with Janelle’s sons during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gabe and Garrison did not follow his rules, and this put distance between the family. Kody said it was their responsibility to fix things with Robyn who they felt was enforcing the extreme rules.

Robyn Brown May Not Live Her Faith

Though Robyn speaks about her Mormonism a lot, she may not live by her faith anymore. Instead of being kind and accepting, Robyn put down her sister wives. She has stuck up for Kody no matter what and prioritized his feelings over Meri, Janelle, and Christine. Robyn blamed his three wives for the problems in their marriages instead of admitting that he wasn’t perfect. When Christine decided to leave Kody, she pretended to be shocked. Robyn was confused about why Christine felt neglected and argued that “Before COVID, Kody was splitting his time equally.”

Instead of facing the music, Robyn made excuses for Kody’s behavior in his marriage with Christine. She attempted to blame the downfall of their relationship on Christine and said that it was her responsibility to balance the pressures of being in a plural marriage. “When you’re a plural wife, you get messed up in your head, and you realize you’re not tracking it as well,” she said. If Kody had given Christine half the attention he gave to Robyn, there’s a chance they could have stayed together. However, she would never admit that, and continuously defended Kody.

Sister Wives star Robyn may not be as devout as she claims to be.

She contributed to the destruction of Kody’s marriages with Meri, Janelle, and Christine, but claims to be innocent.

Even though she claims to have wanted to live in polygamy forever, there are signs that Robyn wanted to be with Kody only.
