Inside Out 2 First Reactions Arrive; Will the Pixar Sequel Make Us Happy, Sad, or Angry?

The first reactions to this year’s Disney and Pixar sequel, Inside Out 2, are now in. So, does the follow-up prove to be a worthy, emotional outing like its predecessor, or does Inside Out 2 disappoint and leave us siding with Sadness and Anger? Well, according to the early reactions, it’s very much the former, with Inside Out 2 being declared “powerful,” “a masterpiece,” and “Pixar back to top form.”

Released back in 2015, the first Inside Out remains one of the best movies in Pixar’s catalog, and it certainly sounds like the sequel will be able to sit proudly next to it.

Finally, one early reaction declares that Inside Out 2 finds the renowned animation studio “back to top form,” with everything from the animation, to the story, to the new characters being “perfection.”
