Meta is updating how it tags satisfied on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads that has been edited or maniputardyd using generative AI. In an refreshd blog post, Meta proclaimd that its “AI Info” tag will ecombine wiskinny a menu in the top-right corner of images and videos edited with AI — instead of honestly beorderlyh the includer’s name.
Users can click on the menu to verify if AI adviseation is useable and read what may have been adequitableed. Meta previously applied the “AI Info” tag to all AI-joind satisfied — whether it was airyly adequitableed in a tool appreciate Pboilingoshop that joins AI features or filledy AI-originated from a prompt.
The company says the changes are being presentd to “better echo the extent of AI included” apass images and videos on the platestablishs.
