Every TV Series Coming to Prime Video in June 2024

Every TV Series Coming to Prime Video in June 2024

Prime Video might not always have an abundance of new shows dropping onto the platform each month, but the series it does choose to bring on board are most definitely worth watching. Unlike Netflix, the streaming service doesn’t release the episodes of its shows in one fell swoop. Instead, they typically receive a weekly drop following their premiere, which means audiences won’t be able to binge any of the latest series over the coming weeks. However, that shouldn’t deter potential viewers.

While there may not be a plethora of shows slated to arrive on the streaming platform next month, the series that will be available are sure to entertain just about any viewer. From a superhero satire to a retelling of British history, Prime Video promises to deliver quality content during the month of June. Whether audiences want to find something new to watch or dive into a returning favorite, the streaming service has them covered.

Antony Starr has responded to recent speculation over his possible casting as a new DCU hero.

Based on the best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys was developed for television by showrunner Eric Kripke, whom many fans of the CW series Supernatural know all too well. After bringing Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles to the show in Season 3 to portray Soldier Boy, fans of both series were not so patiently waiting for others to join the ranks. Thankfully, the upcoming season delivers on those hopes with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who joins the cast as an old colleague of Butcher’s hellbent on taking down superheroes. The Boys Season 4 is streaming on Prime Video on June 13.

My Lady Jane (Season 1)

Stream on June 27

My Lady Jane reimagines the life of Lady Jane Grey (Emily Bader), the great-granddaughter of King Henry VII, who history remembers as the “Nine Days’ Queen” after reigning for a mere nine days in 1553. Executed in 1554, the series provides a twist on her legacy as one of history’s most tragic heroines. By telling her story as if she managed to avoid execution, the show depicts a version of Lady Jane who saves herself before eventually saving the entire kingdom.

Based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Brodi Ashton, Jodi Meadows, and Cynthia Hand, Prime Video’s latest series is full of wit and humor. Retelling history as it should have happened, My Lady Jane empowers its protagonist by giving her the epic tale of true love and adventure she deserves. Set in an alternate universe of British history, fantasy, comedy, and romance, potential viewers are advised to “buckle up” for the not-so-tragic updated tale of Lady Jane. My Lady Jane is streaming on Prime Video on June 27.
