Every Movie Coming to Paramount+ in May 2024

Although better known for its quality television shows rather than movies, Paramount+ has a heap of films heading to the platform next month, and subscribers should most definitely be excited about the upcoming options. With plenty of offerings to occupy viewers for hours, they won’t want to leave the couch no matter how much the sun might be shining. As such, those who subscribe to the streaming service should cozy up and get the popcorn ready.

With one original film in the mix, the streaming platform has everything from horror flicks to comedic dramas and everything else in between. No matter what a viewer might be in the mood for, Paramount+ has something to scratch their proverbial itch. While there aren’t many family-friendly options for parents looking to have a movie night with their kids, there are plenty of other choices for the older adult crowd.

Everybody Wants Some!!

While cruising the campus with his buddies before the start of the semester, Jake meets Beverly (Zoey Deutch), and the pair hit it off almost instantly. A sequel at heart, but not design, to Linklater’s wildly popular Dazed and Confused, Everybody Wants Some!! possess the same spirit, which means it’s a comedy with heart and plenty of laughs. Kiss the Future

Stream on May 7

Kiss the Future is a Paramount+ original documentary about the underground art and music scene that emerged during the horrific siege of Sarajevo in the early 1990s. As the biggest band in the world, U2 shined a spotlight on the atrocities in an effort to show their support for the besieged Sarajevans and garner support for them around the world.

Culminating in a post-war unification concert, the film ultimately tells a cautionary tale about the dangers of extreme nationalism in any country. Also a story about the power of the human spirit and how art can be used as a tool of survival and inspiration, Kiss the Future is an uplifting celebration of people and what they can do in the face of terrible events. Black Christmas (2019)

Stream on May 31

Black Christmas is a horror slasher about a group of sorority sisters at Hawthorne College who are stalked and killed by a stranger during their Christmas break. After their friend Lindsay (Lucy Currey) doesn’t come home following a party one night, Riley (Imogen Poots) and her fellow sisters begin to worry that something more nefarious is happening on campus. However, what they inevitably find out is more sinister than they could have ever imagined.

After coming face to face with their unknown stalker, they discover he’s actually part of a larger underground conspiracy at Hawthorne College. Although this year, the killer underestimated the young women, who refuse to be hapless victims, as they fight back with all their might. Unfortunately, this 2019 remake of the 1974 horror film doesn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessor, but it’s arguably better than the 2006 remake that came before it. Black Christmas (2019) is streaming on Paramount+ on May 31.
