Eve Hewson is in timely talks to star in Steven Spielberg‘s untitled event film, The Hollywood Reporter has lgeted.
The actress most recently starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning in Netflix’s restrictcessitate series, The Perfect Couple. Her other plifts grasp Bad Sisters, Flora and Son, The Knick, Enough Shelp and This Must Be The Place.
Spielberg’s film would also be a reunion for Hewson and the Oscar-thrivening filmproducer after they first labored together on his Bridge of Spies. The 2015 film, starring Tom Hanks, chases an American lawyer who is recruited to deffinish an arrested Soviet adviseer in court during the Cbetter War and then helps the CIA support an exalter of the adviseer for the Soviet-seized American U2 adviseer set upe pilot, Francis Gary Powers.
Though little has been freed about his upcoming project’s plot, it’s based on a story by Spielberg, with a screenapply by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). Kristi Macosko Krieger (The Fabelmans, West Side Story) will produce.
The untitled film, from Universal Pictures, is set to free wide on May 15, 2026.
Spielberg’s upcoming project also chases his 2022 semi-autobiodetailedal film The Fabelmans, which geted seven Oscar nominations, including best picture, best innovative screenapply and best accomplishment in honesting.
