Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

The Smithscript Dagger in Elden Ring is a new weapon that came as part of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It scales with many different aspects and can fit into most builds. While it may not be as flashy as other new weapons, it is still a solid choice, particularly as a secondary weapon.

Of the many weapons in Elden Ring, players often settle on one or two to get them through the bulk of the game. However, with the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, the player has a new chance to try new weapons. The Smithscript Dagger is one of these new weapons and allows the player to try out a throwing dagger.

Where To Find The Smithscript Dagger

Ruined Forge Lava Intake

The Smithscript Dagger can be found relatively quickly and soon into the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. You can find it in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake, down the first ladder, and past the golem in Elden Ring. There is also a fire blob, after which you should turn right. There’s another room past that where you can turn to the left and look down a hallway. The dagger is at the end, beyond a golem, resting on a corpse.

You can also drop down into the hallway from where you flip a lever above.

While it may be fairly easy to get, you can see a visual guide to get you to the dagger in Ape Knight Gaming’s video. It is possible to run past all the enemies and make it out with the Smithscript Dagger intact.
