And the powers-that-be at Universal Pictures didn’t hold back because the video offers just over three-and-a-half minutes of brand-new footage. This includes Ariana Grande’s Glinda and Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba meeting for the first time at Shiz, the revelation of a certain wicked witch’s powers and the dubious nature of the seemingly all-powerful Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum). During the trailer, fans are treated to Grande singing Popular and Erivo belting out Defying Gravity.
