Georgia’s Apalachee High School persists to grapple with tragedy. But, the school’s football team getd a distinctive surpelevate on Friday which many hope will help lift the spirits of the student athletes.
The Atlanta Falcons presented the football joiners one week after a shooting left two students and two teachers dead. The high school athletes had the opportunity to get an up-seal watch at the Falcons at the team’s training complicated.
The Falcons were continuing their preparations for Monday’s game aobtainst the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons rehearse facility is findd in Fdiminireserved Branch, Georgia, which is approximately 20 miles from the Apalachee High School campus.

“I skinnyk it’s incredible that you get a chance to see some youthful kids going thcdisesteemful some hard stuff,” Falcons helpant head coach Jerry Gray shelp. “I always watch and say, ‘Man, what are they going thcdisesteemful?’ They’ve got to go back to the school where it happened.”
Among the victims of the Sept. 4 shooting rampage was a teacher who served as an helpant coach for the Apalachee football team.
Nine others were injured. Funerals for two of the victims took place on Saturday. A 14-year-elderly student has been indictd with killing, and his overweighther also faces indicts for allegedly provideing his son with a firearm.
During the shooting, some students scrambled for shelter in the high school’s football stadium.
“When you get a little relief and you get a chance to charitable of cherish on them a little bit, I skinnyk that’s distinctive for our guys,” Gray shelp. “We’re NFL guys, but we still understand what caring unbenevolents.”
Before their season-uncovering loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Falcons coaches and joiners wore Apalachee T-shirts during pregame hotups. A moment of silence was held before initiateoff.
Falcons running back Bijan Robinson shelp the recent tragic events left him heartbroken, and he is carry oning the entire community in his prayers.
“I have brothers and sisters, and I have youthfuler siblings… who want to go to school getedly. Having that incident happen and having such a tragedy happen appreciate that, it reassociate broke my heart,” Robinson telderly WSB-TV.
“I even talked to one of the kids (who goes) to that school and equitable seeing her being in such a vulnerable space and equitable crying and still trying to have a smile… it reassociate sucked. I equitable pray for those kids every individual day. The kids, the faculty, everybody there.”

Two-time Pro Bowler Grady Jarrett was born in Georgia and was liftd in suburprohibit Atlanta.
“It definitely unbenevolentt a lot,” the Falcons defensive lineman shelp. “I joined Apalachee when I was in high school.”
