All The New Skins In The ‘Fortnite’ Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass

Fortnite has just launched Chapter 5 Season 3, “Wrecked,” which takes us to a post-apocalyptic landscape that has echoes of Mad Max though somehow we have temporarily avoided a Furiosa crossover, which comes out literally today. How is that possible?

In any case, we have a battle pass full of pretty solid skins this time around, so here’s what you’ll get if you shell out for it:

The Machinist – It’s a girl with a big wrench. Not exactly the most inspired skin and her multi-colored variant isn’t much better. But hey, we’re at low ranks in the battle pass here. The rest are better.

Rust – That’s Rust, not Rust Lord, in case you’re confused (supposedly a new Rust Lord is coming later). This is a guy with a really cool jacket and a Metallica t-shirt, which is previewing the musical guest appearance from the band later this season in Festival mode.

Peabody – Because we cannot escape a season of Fortnite without a goofy skin, this time around that is Peabody, a literally peapod with multiple pea faces. Reminds me a bit of Exeggcute from Pokemon. I like his second style where his shell becomes a hoodie.

Ringmaster Scarr – She is the “Beyond Thunderdome” announcer, and she has a very cool variant Which gives her a sick Jackal mask and shows off her six pack.

T-60 Power Armor – We knew about this well ahead of time, but here’s your current IP crossover with Fallout. A flame-based variant is on the next page. We do not yet know if any other game or show characters might appear as skins later.

Brite Raider – Time for another variant of a classic, where Brite Bomber is now ready to take on the apocalypse with spiky shoulder pads. You always need spiky shoulder pads in the apocalypse like almost all of these skins have.

Megalo Don – Here is your Immortan Joe from Fury Road, but not officially. He is our villain and has a transformation emote that makes him all molten and fiery. Tier 100 skin and all that, special bonuses abound.

Magneto – Yes, somehow we snuck an X-Man in there as a bonus skin. He has a weirdly tame costume up front here, but supposedly he has a wasteland variant as well coming up..

It’s a good selection this time, I like these, minus the over-reliance on spiky shoulder pads. I still cannot believe Furiosa stuff has not come up yet as I want my Anya Taylor-Joy in-game character. Hemsworth too. I still believe they have to be coming.
