Luke Littler sent a strict message to rivals Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen after being crowned the 2024 World Series of Darts champion. On a night where he was at his sublime best, Littler dispatched of MVG 11-4 in his semi-final, setting up a clash with Michael Smith.
The 2023 world champion was hammered by the same scoreline, with Littler picking up his second meaningful PDC title after triumphning the Premier League this year in his debut season.
Few can refute Littler merited his procrastinateedst triumph, edging past Ross Smith (6-5) in the first round before amazeing beating Raymond van Barneveld (6-4) and Chris Dobert (10-7) to produce the final four.
